celebrating the bounty that are farmers markets
Welcome to Quezito
We offer seasonal boards built from small-scale local farmers and producers. Bringing fresh flavors, unique finds, and a deeper connection to the food we love to share. With new things to find on our menu every season.
Welcome friend. I’m so happy you’re here.
Quezito comes from the Spanish word for cheese — a nod to my first language and the way food has always connected me to home, family, and gathering around the table.
We also might've swapped a letter to tie it back to my last name, Quezada, which makes it extra personal. Quezito is where seasonality, craft, and community meet, and where cheese is always at the center.
The Meaning Behind Quezito
Nicole, you are your brand, and your brand is you💐 when I met you at an event, it was cold and raining, you were happy and presented your boxes with joy. The vision you have for your brand resonates in the aesthetic. The delicate, beautiful, colorful, and pleasing presentation is everything. Your boxes have a feel of luxury and ease. You translate that into your IG feed. I said to my husband that day, "she is going to do great"

Every item on our boards is edible, even the flowers and herb garnishes! We grow our own pansies during the winter to ensure they’re safe to eat. They have a light, grassy flavor, but you can always leave them off if you prefer.

“In season” means the fruit or vegetable is being harvested at its natural peak, this list is based off where I am, southern AZ.
-
Produce harvested at its peak allowed enough time to ripen before harvesting, contrary to produce that travels 5,000+ miles, allowing more flavor and nutrients.
